Transforming Organizational Cultures & Practices

We offer a mix of assessment, collective learning, and policy and programmatic design to shift your organization's internal and external work towards equity and collective liberation.

This work is rooted in our Grounded Program Design methodology, which offers a framework to incorporate racial equity and anti-oppression approaches to all aspects of our work. Our holistic model helps you better promote gender, racial, and economic justice and equity in workplaces and to build sustainable and accountable practices to shift organizational culture and practice. This work starts with reflection, assessment, and collective learning spaces, to help teams increase understanding of their own identities, positionality, and power. We expand on that work to support collective redesign of organizational processes, policies, and programs.

What does this look like in practice?

We typically run these projects in four phases:

[Our partnership with Seachange] has resulted in a concrete, ambitious but achievable set of commitments and a plan of action which will be integrated into and implemented over the life of the broader organizational strategy, and which has the full ownership of the staff and Board.

This is essential for any leader in the nonprofit world. It’s not enough to say that you’re doing good. This shows how to go much, much deeper than charity or philanthropy.
